Apparatus - Crowley, Texas, Fire Dept. Adds 125-foot Aerial to Fleet

 Chief Pleasant Brooks and the members of the Crowley, Texas, Fire Department, have added a Smeal 125-foot straight stick rear-mount aerial to the department's fleet. It's built on Smeal Sirius custom cab and chassis, powered by a Detroit Diesel engine with an Allison transmission.

To fight fire, it has a Hale pump and a 300-gallon water tank. Other equipment includes a Harrison generator, Fire Research Focus scene lights, Whelen warning lights, Hannay hydraulic reels and Collins flood lights.
