Fort Worth firefighters worked for 45 minutes to contain a fire that damaged a Motel 6 adjacent to a busy interstate on March 30.

Crews found fire in the attic of the two-story, U-shaped motel in the 4200 block of South Freeway.

The crew from Truck 2 ventilated the roof while interior crews opened ceiling to access the fire.

More than two dozen companies responded to the scene.
