Fredericksburg, IA,  Fire Department has taken delivery of a Midwest Fire side-control tanker-pumper built on a Freightliner M2 106 chassis with a Cummins L9 350 hp engine and an Allison 3000EVS transmission. It is equipped with a 2,000-gallon ARP polypropylene tank and a Darley LSP 1,000-gpm pto pump. Other equipment includes a Newton 10-inch swivel dump valve with a 36-inch telescoping chute. It also has Whelen warning and scene lights, a Kussmaul battery conditioner with air auto-eject, and R.O.M. roll-up doors.
