The Rural Firefighting Academy

The Rural Firefighting Academy’s mission is to provide highly-effective and targeted education for the small community firefighter, at an affordable price. We provide top quality training and education by leading fire service instructors. 

For the small community fire department, cost-effective training and education are more important than ever considering today’s challenging economic environment and the need to train and retain volunteers. The RFA’s on-line programs provide rural-specific firefighting knowledge combined with the flexibility volunteer firefighters need to learn at their own pace. Students successfully completing each online course receive a certificate of completion from the Rural Firefighting Academy.
