    Jian Xiang joined DuPont in 2014 as global technical leader responsible for developing new products and applications, codes and standards committees for the Emergency Response service.  Prior to DuPont, Xiang was a Senior Principal Scientist for Essentra Porous Technology developing materials for rapid diagnostics test kits, medical devices, filtration and personal care products for 12 years. Xiang also worked as lab manager in performance fibers at Honeywell International for more than 5 years. Xiang graduated from University of Maryland with M.S. in Textile Science and is inventor and co-inventor of 13 U.S. patents or patent applications.
