Billy Wusterhausen
Billy Wusterhausen has been involved in the fire service since 1991, when he began as a volunteer and then began a career as a firefighter in 1995. He promoted through the ranks and currently serves as a fire chief. Wusterhausen has worked in every division of the fire service and is also a license paramedic and a commissioned police officer. He obtained his associates and bachelor’s degree in fire science and a master’s degree in public administration. Wusterhausen also volunteers as a response commander for the Texas Line of Duty Death Task Force, for which he responds statewide to assist police, fire and EMS agencies and families that are dealing with an LODD.
