After much anticipation and lots of hard work by many, The 2010 Wantagh High School Alumni Get Together is Finally Etched in Stone. This "Multi Year Reunion" will be held at the bellmore Firehouse on Saturday, July 31st at 7:00pm and features a Full Course Dinner Buffet, coffee & dessert, unlimited beer, wine & soda and Live Music provided by Long Island's Biggest and Best Known Musicians from the 70's & 80's. We will have raffles & auctions for tickets to the Yankees and Mets, the Theater at Westbury (Westbury Music Fair), The Jones Beach Theater, Wine Baskets, Dinners for two donated by local restaurants and much, much more.... But the best part is a chance to mingle with old friends... (Yes we are old, lol!!!), reminisce, tell old stories as well as new ones, share a drink, hop in a photo or two & just have a BLAST!!!

Ruth Lemminn (1973) & Joe Marsar (1972) are both Wantagh Alumni who married. Their son in law, Eamonn, now living in New Jersey and working for the local municipality was electrocuted while working on a power line that was supposed to have been shut off, but wasn’t. Eamonn is now crippled and will likely never walk again. He and his wife Christal (Ruth & Joe’s Daughter) have three children and they need us, and they need us NOW!!! Ruth, Joe & Family are “our own” and we “must step up”. ALL PROCEEDS from the Wantagh High School Alumni Get Together will go to benefit the family and help them renovate their modest home to accommodate a wheelchair as well as help them survive a life style that none of us would ever want to live. Please come to the 2010 WHS Get Together, have a Great Time and make a difference in the lives of a Family from Wantagh.
