Albany FireFighters Community Assistance Fund (AFFCAF) is holding its 10th Annual Golf Tournament fundraiser on Friday, July 30, at Springhill Country Club. The tournament is a four-person team scramble starting at 9:00 a.m. The $400 team entry fee includes 18 holes of golf, two golf carts, buffet lunch, two beverage tickets per player, and raffle prize tickets.

Albany Fire Department sees firsthand the emergency needs in our community on a daily basis. Many of the needs are outside our scope as a fire and ambulance provider and that's where AFFCAF steps in. AFFCAF is a non-profit organization that provides immediate financial assistance to families burned out of their homes or who have suffered a traumatic event; bike helmets for children throughout Albany; food for an empty cupboard; taxi rides to the hospital when an ambulance isn't necessary; and so much more.
