Worker Killed in Fall Off Roof of Pa. Firehouse

KENNEDY TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- A fall from the roof of the Kennedy Township Independent Volunteer Fire Company killed a person Friday afternoon. The victim was taken from the accident scene on Pine Hollow Road to Allegheny General Hospital, where he died. He was identified by the county medical examiner as Dennis Golling, 53, of McKees Rocks. WTAE Channel 4 Action News' Sarah Arbogast reported that the victim was an employee of a roofing business.

A fall from the roof of the Kennedy Township Independent Volunteer Fire Company killed a person Friday afternoon.

The victim was taken from the accident scene on Pine Hollow Road to Allegheny General Hospital, where he died.

He was identified by the county medical examiner as Dennis Golling, 53, of McKees Rocks.

WTAE Channel 4 Action News' Sarah Arbogast reported that the victim was an employee of a roofing business.

Police are not releasing the company's name, pending an investigation by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
