Ohio Fire Station Hit by Bullets; No Injuries

A gunman shot up an East Toledo fire station yesterday, leaving a bullet hole in the glass garage door but missing firefighters and apparatus inside. Toledo Police Detective Willie Johnson said it was unclear if the 4:30 p.m. incident at Station 6, 642 Starr Ave., was a drive-by shooting or if the gunman was on foot.No shell casings were recovered but police found two bullets.Five firefighters were in the firehouse at the time of the shooting. Toledo Police Detective Willie Johnson said it was unclear if the 4:30 p.m. incident at Station 6, 642 Starr Ave., was a drive-by shooting or if the gunman was on foot.

No shell casings were recovered but police found two bullets.

Five firefighters were in the firehouse at the time of the shooting.
