Man Pulled From Burning Home by Pa. Crews

CONEMAUGH TWP., Pa. -- An elderly man was pulled out of burning home in Cambria County early Tuesday morning. Officials said the fire started at about 2 a.m. at a home in the 200 block of Hipp Street in Conemaugh Township. Officials said two people were living inside the home. An elderly woman was able to make it out of the home on her own, but an elderly man had to be pulled to safety through a bedroom window.

An elderly man was pulled out of burning home in Cambria County early Tuesday morning.

Officials said the fire started at about 2 a.m. at a home in the 200 block of Hipp Street in Conemaugh Township.

Officials said two people were living inside the home. An elderly woman was able to make it out of the home on her own, but an elderly man had to be pulled to safety through a bedroom window.

The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment, but it was unclear if he was injured, officials said.

There was no word on how the fire started.
