The Firefighter Cancer Support Network announced this week the addition to their staff of Garry Briese as Executive Director.

Briese brings more than 36 years of experience in the fire service, most of that time spent as the Executive Director of the International Association of Fire Chiefs.

“We couldn’t be more pleased to have Garry join our team,” said Mike Dubron, President of FCSN, in a prepared statement. “His background will be invaluable to our organization as we grow.”

“FCSN is at a point in our growth where in order to continue expanding we need to begin building a permanent office staff to manage the day-to-day activities,” Dubron said. “The organization is taking a big step forward and we are excited to have Garry and his experience at the helm.”
