The crash happened on Wolford Road in Ross Twp. outside of Xenia near State Route 72 in Greene County.

A veteran Clearcreek Twp. firefighter was slowing down to stop in a corn field and when he was just about stopped, the truck slipped off the side of the road and flipped onto the passenger side. Rain, wind and darkness were factors in the crash, according to the Clearcreek Twp. fire chief.
