An Oden Ridge fire truck plowed through a house while responding to a call Wednesday afternoon, according to WAFF-TV.
Firefighter Ben Cahela, 18, was driving the truck when he overcorrected, leaving the road into the direction of the home.
Firefighter Jessica Bullard, 19, was a passenger in the truck.
Officials said both were wearing seatbelts and were transported to Decatur General Hospital for treatment of injuries.
WHNT-TVReported that the truck flipped several times before coming to a rest inside the living room.
"The speed and the weight of the vehicle, I just knew it had gone straight-forward into the house and gone all the way through it," resident Jim Nail told the news station.
