Blazes Destroy Five Houses on Georgia Road

TROUP COUNTY, Ga. -- Troup County firefighters responded to five fully involved house fires in very close proximity early Monday according to a fire dispatch official. The first call was made by a homeowner at 3:18 a.m. from a home on Hines Road. Firefighters on the way to this fire spotted a second one at the corner of Greenville Road and Fincer Road. According to the fire department, three more fires were reported in the next hour.

TROUP COUNTY, Ga. --

Troup County firefighters responded to five fully involved house fires in very close proximity early Monday according to a fire dispatch official.

The first call was made by a homeowner at 3:18 a.m. from a home on Hines Road.

Firefighters on the way to this fire spotted a second one at the corner of Greenville Road and Fincer Road.

According to the fire department, three more fires were reported in the next hour.

All were in the area of Greenville Road. There are no reported injuries.
