Detroit Firefighter Hospitalized With Chest Pains

A Detroit firefighter was hospitalized early Tuesday morning after complaining of chest pains, according to The Detroit News

The unidentified firefighter, a sergeant with more than 20 year with the department, responded to a blaze on the city's east side on Eastlawn Street at approximately 4:30 a.m. when he fell ill.

He was transported to a local hospital and is expected to be kept overnight for tests, according to the report.
