STEUBENVILLE, Ohio --

A Steubenville firefighter has been fired for a second time this year.

Paul Bowman was terminated following a pre-termination hearing that was scheduled for Monday.

Bowman was originally terminated in May, but earlier this month an arbitrator ruled he should get his job back.

The firefighter, who was with the department for eight year, did not possess a valid drivers licensed when he was reinstated earlier this month, according to Steubenville Law Director Gary Repella. Repella said that is a requirement and a reason for Bowmans termination. He also added the termination was based on threats Bowman reportedly made against city officials in recent months.
