La. Firefighter Pulled From Fire Truck After Crash

    A firefighter in Gonzales was pulled from a fire truck last night after it rolled over while responding to a call.

    The crash occurred on Highway 621 near Airline Highway shortly after 5 p.m.

    The fire truck left the road and its wheels dipped into a ditch before it flipped. Fire District No. 1 Chairman James LeBlanc told the news station.

    The firefighter is expected to be OK and investigators are trying to determine what caused the truck to veer off the road.
