An explosion and fire rocked a propane company in rural Cass County Wednesday morning, injuring at least one person.

An explosion and fire rocked a propane company in rural Cass County Wednesday morning, injuring at least one person.

The explosion happened at about 11:20 a.m. at King Oil, on the north side of Walton, which is about halfway between Logansport and Kokomo.

Several liquefied petroleum tanks exploded, Indiana State Police said, and those explosions ignited a fire.

Traffic was blocked at U.S. 35 and State Road 218.
