TRAVELERS REST, S.C. --

Eleven people were injured Wednesday in an accident that involved four vehicles including a funeral car and a fire truck.

The accident happened on Highway 276 near Travelers Rest.

The Highway Patrol said when the funeral car and a Chevrolet slowed down, a Ford hit the Chevrolet from behind, knocking it into the funeral car.

A short time later, a North Greenville fire truck that came to the scene rolled forward and hit the Ford. No one was in the fire truck at the time.

The Highway Patrol is still investigating what made the unoccupied fire truck start rolling.

The driver of the Ford was charged with driving too fast for conditions.

All of the injuries were said to be minor.
