Five Prince George's County firefighters sustained minor injuries while battling a blaze in Clinton yesterday morning, according to a fire department press release.
Four firefighters received minor burns while another suffered an injury to his right leg. All of them were transported to area hospitals and have since been released.
Crews responded to the house on 8200 Anaio Court at approximately 11:15 a.m. after receiving calls for a house on fire.
Firefighters arrived to find the two-story single family with heavy conditions on both floors and extending into the attic, according to the release. The house was vacant but is known to have housed vagrants.
It took a crew of 33 firefighters close to 30 minutes to knock down the blaze.
