Body Dumped at Atlanta Fire Station

ATLANTA -- Atlanta Police said there are no obvious signs of trauma on the body that was dumped in front of Atlanta Fire Station 29. Homicide detectives were called to a fire station in the 2100 block of Monroe in Northeast Atlanta, after a body was found in the driveway. Investigators said it was dumped there around 9am Sunday. Officials said fire fighters tried to revive the man who appeared to be in his 20s, but they were unsuccessful.

Atlanta Police said there are no obvious signs of trauma on the body that was dumped in front of Atlanta Fire Station 29.

Homicide detectives were called to a fire station in the 2100 block of Monroe in Northeast Atlanta, after a body was found in the driveway. Investigators said it was dumped there around 9am Sunday.

Officials said fire fighters tried to revive the man who appeared to be in his 20s, but they were unsuccessful.

Police said there are no obvious signs of trauma on the body, but at this point, they dont know who the man is, how he died or who dumped his body. The medical examiner is expected to conduct an autopsy.
