Blaze Erupts at Pennsylvania Firefighter's Home
FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- Firefighters in Franklin Township raced to save the home of one of their own on Thursday morning, but the flames were too much. Flames and thick, black smoke could be seen coming from the Prospect Road home as crews arrived to battle the blaze. No one was hurt, but one firefighter was taken to a hospital after complaining of chest pains. A few dogs died in the fire, authorities said. The Red Cross is now assisting the family of the firefighter who lived in the home.
