Two Md. Responders Injured in Ambulance Crash

Two crew members from Kent Island Volunteer Fire Department were injured about noon Thursday when their ambulance crashed while en route to a call.
KENT ISLAND, Md. -- Two crew members from Kent Island Volunteer Fire Department were injured about noon Thursday when their ambulance crashed while en route to a call.

They were released after treatment at R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.

The medic ambulance skidded on the wet road, struck a fence and trees on Cox Neck Road, according to The Star Democrat.
