2 Wis. Firefighters Injured in Mill Blast

Two Manitowoc County firefighters and a worker were injured in a blast at a feed mill last night

Two Manitowoc County firefighters and a worker were injured in a blast at a feed mill last night, according to WLUK-TV.

Two firefighters were taken to the hospital with heat-related issues while one worker was injured in that explosion. It is not known how serious the injuries are, according to the report.

The blast occurred at CP Feeds on Washington Street in Valders and was reported at approximately 7:15 p.m.

It took until about 12:30 a.m. this morning before everything was under control.

The blast caused significant damage to the building, but authorities are not calling it a total loss, the report said.
