Two New York Fire Trucks Collide

Two fire trucks collided in the town of Wallkill on Memorial Day, according to The Times Herald-Record.A City of Middletown fire truck and a Pocatello Fire Department fire truck were responding to a call at approximately 4:30 p.m. with their lights and sirens activated when the collision occurred at the intersection of County Route 78 and Wawayanda Avenue.The crash sent at least three firefighters to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the report.

Two fire trucks collided in the town of Wallkill on Memorial Day, according to The Times Herald-Record.

A City of Middletown fire truck and a Pocatello Fire Department fire truck were responding to a call at approximately 4:30 p.m. with their lights and sirens activated when the collision occurred at the intersection of County Route 78 and Wawayanda Avenue.

The crash sent at least three firefighters to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the report.

Both trucks sustained significant damage and are out of commission.
