Los Angeles firefighter battled a blaze this morning that engulfed the entire sixth floor of an apartment building in the Koreatown section of the city.
Los Angeles firefighter battled a blaze this morning that engulfed the entire sixth floor of an apartment building in the Koreatown section of the city, according to KTLA-TV.

Crews responded to the fire at the six-story Versailles Apartments along the 600 block of St. Andrews Place at approximately 8:37 a.m., department spokesman Brian Humphrey told the news station.

It's believed the fire began in the attic of the building, which was constructed in 1927.

Firefighter cut holes in the roof to provide ventilation while other firefighter attacked the blaze from inside the structure.

The fire was knocked down within about an hour and there were no injuries reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
