Ky. Firefighter Rescued During Training
A veteran firefighter needed to be rescued during a swift water training exercise yesterday afternoon, according to WSAZ-TV.
The incident occurred at the Yatesville Lake in Louisa, where the Northeastern Kentucky Fire School held the training.
Mark Hammond, the Regional Training Coordinator for the Kentucky Fire Commission, told the news station that the firefighter was sucked under the water at approximately 1:30 p.m. and had to be rescued.
