Three Mich. Firefighters Injured in Blaze
ANN ARBOR, Mich. --
A father and his six-year-old daughter jumped to safety after their Ann Arbor home caught on fire early Friday morning.
The fire started around 1 a.m. in a home in the 2500 block of Georgetown Boulevard.
Three firefighters were injured.
One had an arm injurty, two others were treated for burns to their face.
Firefighters said a loud noise woke the mother, who then woke up her sleeping husband.
The woman and a 3-year-old child got out through the front door.
The father went to wake up the 6-year-old and was unable to get out the front door.
Crews were able to get the fire under control within an hour and prevented the fire from spreading to houses on either side.
