Three Injured in Pa. Ambulance Crash

GLENOLDEN, Pa. -- A Folcroft Fire Department ambulance was involved in a collision early yesterday morning, according to WPVI-TV.At least three people we transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries following the accident.The incident occurred at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Ashland Avenue, when an ambulance transporting a patient was struck from behind by another vehicle. The ambulance was forced off the road and onto the lawn of a nearby residence, the report said.

Police told the news station that they are trying to determine if alcohol played a factor in the crash.
