NOVI, Mich. --
Fire crews answered a call around 1:30 a.m. Saturday morning at Tartage Trucking at 48735 Grand River in Novi. They were called by a truck driver getting gas next door at Sam's Club.
They found seven tractor-trailor cabs parked near the building on fire. The exterior of the building was scorched, but the fire did not make it through the wall.
Firefighters said some of the fuel tanks on the trucks has ruptured.
Ten fire vehicles were needed to fight the blaze. One firefighter suffered minor injuries.
A cleanup company was called in and the runoff of diesel fuel was stopped by dams and absorbents.
The business will continue to operate.
Firefighters said they are working with the owner of the company to determine what caused the fire.
