BOSTON -- A Boston firefighter was injured Tuesday by a hit-and-run driver in Roxbury. The incident happened near 36 Edgewood St. in Roxbury just before noon. Boston Fire said the Grove Hall Station firefighter was putting gear in Ladder 23 after a medical call when he was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. The firefighter suffered a knee and wrist injury, officials said.
