Detroit Firefighter Hurt in Blaze
DETROIT --
One man is dead and a Detroit firefighter injured after a house fire on city's east side on Monday.
The fire started in a house on Burns Street just after 7 a.m.
Firefighters found the body of a man believed to be in his 70s inside the home.

One firefighter was hospitalized with minor injuries.
"As they started making their entry they could only so far. Debris was blocking the stairway and they could not make the stairs to get to the fire and therefore the fire continued to work without any water being put on it. It got out of control and we had to pull everybody out." said Detroit Fire Battalion Chief James McBrown.
The cause of the fire is still unknown.
