CONCORD, Mass. --
A woman was pulled from the icy waters of Walden Pond in Concord on Wednesday afternoon.
Concord officials received a 911 call early Wednesday afternoon that a woman had fallen through the ice. Crews were able to pull the semi-conscious woman out of the water and she was taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
One firefighter suffered a minor injury during the rescue.
The name of the 50-year-old Lincoln woman was not released.
The Massachusetts State Police Air Wing helped in the search and rescue.
The pond is part of the Walden Pond State Reservation in Concord.
