EL PASO, Texas --

El Paso firefighters responded to an unusual call Monday morning after a worker got stuck in a dog food silo.

Fire crews responded to the Valley Feed/Pet's Barn factory in the 400 block of Inglewood in the Lower Valley.

They found a 49-year-old man trapped up to his shoulders in dog food.

"Units were able to get the man free and removed out of the silo. We checked him out medically. He refused transport to a hospital. We're just glad that all's well that ends well," said Rusty Hall.

The man told firefighters he got trapped while conducting maintenance on the silo.
