Baltimore Firefighter Injured at Blaze

The injured firefighter was taken to the Bayview Burn Center.

BALTIMORE --

A Baltimore City firefighter was hurt this morning while fighting a house fire in southwest Baltimore on Saturday.

Officials said crews responded about 10:30 a.m. to the 500 block of Warner Street in the Ridgelys Delight neighborhood.

City fire dispatch said a firefighter was injured and was taken to the Bayview Burn Center. The nature of the firefighter's injuries are unclear.

There is no word on any other injuries.

The blaze was brought under control after about 20 minutes. A search for a cause is under way.
