Florida Firefighter Gets Hot at Blaze
JUPITER, Fla. --
Lightning struck the roof of a Jupiter home Monday night, sparking a fire.
A firefighter had to be treated for dehydration after battling a fire sparked by lightning.
The fire started at the home on Laurel Oaks Way at about 7:30 a.m.
Firefighters arrived to find smoke pouring out of the eaves.
The fire was quickly contained, but not before one firefighter had to be taken away on a stretcher. The firefighter was taken to the hospital to be treated for dehydration.
