Maryland Significant Injury Report Released
ROCKVILLE, Md. -- The Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service has released the final report into the Oct. 2, 2008 blaze that injured Rockville Firefighter Joel Rogozinski.
Read Full Report Rogozinski fell through the first floor of a vacant house into the basement. A mayday was signaled but he was able to escape through a basement window. He suffered burns to 35 percent of his body and was transported to the MedStar Burn Unit of the Washington Hospital Center. The report makes recommendations on topics including accountability, mayday response, communications and training.
