Florida Crews Rescue Cow Stuck In Mud

SOUTHWEST RANCHES, Fla. --

Broward County firefighters worked for an hour Wednesday afternoon to rescue a cow that got stuck in mud in Southwest Ranches.

The cow got stuck near 133rd Avenue and Griffin Road.

About 10 rescuers worked to free the animal, whose front legs were stuck in the muck. Its back legs were folded underneath.

Rescue crews put a harness around the animal and tried to lift it out.

After an hour of work, rescuers finally succeeded in freeing the animal.
