Ohio Firefighters Fight to Keep Jobs

ELYRIA, Ohio --

The fight to save 10 Elyria firefighters continues.

A lawsuit filed by the President of the Firefighters Union contends a reduction of positions would leave the department unable to safely guard the city.

The lawsuit is seeking a temporary restraining order to keep the firefighters on the job until a detailed management report is completed.

If the lawsuit fails, the firefighters last day on the job would be Wednesday.
