Milwaukee firefighters rescued two people from an apartment after it caught on fire.

MILWAUKEE --

Milwaukee firefighters rescued two people from an apartment after it caught on fire.

The Milwaukee Fire Department said the fire broke out in the back of a convenience store at 24th Place and Hopkins Street just before 2 a.m. There are apartment on top of the store.

No one was injured in the fire. The Red Cross is assisting displaced residents.
