Many Pets Saved During Calif. Apartment Complex Fire

A fire at a Folsom apartment complex forces at least three families out of their homes. Firefighters save many pets.

FOLSOM, Calif. --

A fire at a Folsom apartment complex forced at least three families out of their homes Friday evening.

Firefighters said they were called to the Folsom Ranch Apartments at about 7 p.m. The fire was in an upper unit at the complex.

No one was injured and fire crews were able to rescue many animals including cats and a bunny.

Fire officials say the cause of the fire is under investigation.
