Flames Destroy Vacant Home in Pa.

This was the second time the house burned.

WEST DEER TOWNSHIP, Pa. --

A vacant home was destroyed by fire in West Deer Township early Friday.

The fire started at 1:30 a.m. on Superior Lane, emergency dispatchers reported.

The house was fully involved when crews arrived on scene, firefighters said.

West Deer VFD Fire Chief Gary Bursuk told Channel 4 Action News fire crews have been called out to this location before.

There was a prior attempt back in February. Attempt to set the house on fire, Bursuk said. [The home] was pretty much 100 percent destroyed now.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

No injuries were reported.
