Ohio Crews Save 3 Trapped by Fire

CINCINNATI --

Three people were trapped on the top floor of a building that caught fire Wednesday afternoon in Clifton Heights.

Firefighters rescued them from the burning building in the 500 block of Riddle Road.

No injuries were reported in the fire, which remains under investigation.

Two of the three ladder trucks that responded to the fire are among the four companies that will be temporarily closed at times as part of a cost-cutting measure.

Damage was estimated at $40,000.
