REDSTONE TOWNSHIP, Pa. --

One person was killed and four others were hurt in a two-car crash in Fayette County Wednesday night.

The crash happened at about 10:10 p.m. along Grindstone Road in Redstone Township.

The woman killed in the crash was identified as Angela Miller, 18, of Grindstone, state police said.

Grindstone Fire Chief Rich Lenk said Miller was the sister of two firefighters who responded to the call.

"The girl in the Pontiac was the sister of two of our firemen who responded to the fire call," said Lenk. "It's not a very good time here right now."

Miller was speeding when she lost control of her vehicle, police said. They said the car swerved and collided with a sport utility vehicle.

Four people in the SUV were hurt, including a 5-year-old, a toddler and their parents, police said.

The children were taken to Uniontown Hospital. Their parents were flown to hospitals in Pittsburgh. Their names and conditions have not been released.
