A former firefighter has been arrested on suspicion of starting more than 40 fires in Stephens County.

OKLAHOMA CITY --

A former firefighter has been arrested on suspicion of starting more than 40 fires in Stephens County.

Prosecutors said that James Morgan admitted to police that he set the fires. Morgan used to work as a volunteer firefighter in Comanche.

Investigators said they weren't sure what motivated the crimes.

If convicted of all the charges he faces, Morgan could be sentenced to more than 200 years in prison.
