LAKE COUNTY, Fla. --

Eyewitness News has the findings of an investigation into the temporary shut down of the Minneola Fire Department.

In April, the Minneola City Manager shut down the department for two days after firefighters got into disagreements during two medical calls.

An outside law firm was called into review the stand down. It found that while the city manager did not do anything wrong, shutting down the fire department was unnecessary.

It also said that Minneola residents were not in danger without the fire department because it was covered by other agencies.
