SALEM TOWNSHIP, Ohio --

A firefighter is recovering after being injured while fighting a barn fire.

The four-alarm fire started at a home in the 3200 block of Mason Morrow Millgrove Road at about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

News 5 reporter Karin Johnson said a source told her a firefighter was injured during a fall.

Johnson said he was taken to Bethesda Arrow Springs Hospital for treatment.

Medics said the firefighter suffered minor injuries.

Dispatchers said the fire was large in size and had mostly burned the barn down.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
