OMAHA, Neb. --

A former Lincoln firefighter accused of taking narcotics from an ambulance for his own use has pleaded no contest.

John Massie, 29, is charged with acquiring a controlled substance by fraud.

Massie could face up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

He's scheduled to be sentenced in April.
