Michigan House Fire Claims One

A woman and two of her children escaped from the Pontiac home unharmed

PONTIAC, Mich. --

One person is dead after an early morning house fire, police said.

The fire started at about 5 a.m. on the 1200 block of Dufrain Avenue.

Investigators told Local 4 a woman and two of her children escaped from the home unharmed.

When firefighters put the flames out, they discovered the body of the womans 25-year-old son.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
